Drag Specialties Shocks Premium Ride-Height Adjustable - Heavy Duty - FXR / XL '77-'03

Drag Specialties Shocks Premium Ride-Height Adjustable - Heavy Duty - FXR / XL '77-'03

Features

Upgrade your motorcycle's handling and comfort with these Premium Ride-Height Adjustable Shocks. Engineered for heavy-duty performance, these shocks feature nitrogen-charged steel monotube damper bodies paired with hard chrome-plated shafts for long-lasting durability and consistent damping. The dual-rate progressive wound springs are designed to soak up road imperfections, providing a smooth, stable, and comfortable ride whether you are cruising city streets or hitting the open highway.

  • Nitrogen-charged steel monotube damper bodies with hard chrome-plated shafts
  • Dual-rate progressive wound springs for a smooth, comfortable ride
  • Adjustable spring preload to suit your riding style and load
  • Ride-height adjustable, allowing for +/- 1/2" fine-tuning from the base size
  • Mounts easily using existing hardware
  • Shocks shorter than OE length have reduced travel, which may affect ride quality and motorcycle handling.

Notes

  • Lowering the motorcycle will reduce ground and cornering clearance.
  • Before purchasing or attempting to install shocks different from OEM length, confirm that wheel travel can be altered without causing clearance issues such as swingarm/axle to exhaust contact, or chain/belt guard and tire contact.
  • OE upper shock mount covers will not fit with these shocks.
  • Not for use with rear lowering kits.
  • May require custom mounting on models that have OEM-style offset mount shocks.
